What are the characteristics of LED street lights?

LED street lights can be seen almost everywhere in the existing social environment, because with the development of cities, more and more people will find this type of street light in our cities. However, due to its high efficiency and safety characteristics, this type of street light is attracting more attention. Many people want to know what the characteristics of LED street lights are.

(1) LED street lights, on the surface, have a unidirectional nature of light and no diffuse reflection of light, which can ensure the efficiency of lighting. At the same time, the entire street light has a unique optical design during actual design, and can reflect all the light from the street light to the existing lighting area, further improving all lighting efficiency and achieving energy-saving goals through this method.

(2) When designing LED street lights in practice, there will be various design methods. Currently, they can achieve a power of 110-130, and there is still a lot of room for development. Theoretically, they can reach a power of 360 watts. However, the luminous efficiency of high-pressure sodium lamps generally increases with the increase of power. Therefore, overall, there is a stronger luminous efficiency than high-pressure sodium lamps, and the theoretical effect is also very good. In fact, the luminous efficiency of high-pressure sodium lamps above 250 watts is definitely much better than LED lamps.

(3) The color rendering performance of LED street lamps is much higher than that of high-pressure sodium lamps. The color rendering coefficient of high-pressure sodium lamps is basically around 23, and the detection coefficient of the entire street lamp can reach over 75. From a visual psychological perspective, it can also achieve the same brightness. At the same time, the brightness of the entire lighting will decrease by about 20% compared to the high-pressure sodium lamp.
